Finding Board of Education policies is now easier than ever. Beginning in July 2023, Hicksville Public Schools began transitioning policies to BoardDocs, a secure online system where all new and updated policies are stored. Older policies that have not yet been reviewed remain on the district website, but over time all policies will be managed in BoardDocs.

Follow the Step-by-Step Guide below to quickly locate the policy you need.
Step 1: Go to BoardDocs...BoardDocs Hicksville
Step 2: Search for a Policy
Search by Policy Number
If you know the policy number (e.g., 3210 “Visitors to the Schools”), find it in the list on the left.

Search by Policy Subject
For this is example, we are looking for a policy regarding “visitors”
We will start at the BoardDoc’s homepage and click the search icon.
Type a keyword (e.g., Visitors).
Check the Policies box.
Review the results and click the policy you need.
