Improved Security for PowerSchool

In order to improve online security, PowerSchool has updated the login for parents and students. When you access the Parent or Student Portal in PowerSchool, you will now log in with your current email address.
Parents – This is the email that you registered with for PowerSchool
Students – This is your Hicksville Gmail Account.
As an added precaution, all students in 9th grade and above will be required to change their password. Remember to never share your password to any online system.
Directions:
1. Go to the Hicksville Portal Website https://hicksvillepublicschools.powerschool.com/public/
2. Select Parent or Student
3. Enter your EMAIL address
4. Enter your password
5. If you have forgotten your password, click the “Forgot Password” link
6. The rest of your experience on PowerSchool will be the same
